Campus Pride Index
Very few California Community Colleges have completed the Campus Pride Index.
As taken from their website, "the Campus Pride Index provides a critical foundation of understanding as well as a vital tool for assisting colleges and universities in ongoing efforts to improve their LGBTQ campus life and ultimately shape the educational experience to me more inclusive, welcoming and respectful of LGBTQ and ally people." The index gives a campus an overall score out of 5 stars and also provides an individual star ranking for the following areas: Policy Inclusion, Support & Institutional Commitment, Academic Life, Student Life, Housing, Campus Safety, Counseling & Health, Recruitment & Retention Efforts.
