Documentation of Steven Deineh's SP 18 Sabbatical
This sabbatical project focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) equity in higher education. During this sabbatical I:
- Performed academic research to determine best practices for serving sexual minorities in higher education settings,
- Visited and met with employees and students at institutions of higher education that are utilizing best practices,
- Interviewed key figures across the United States working on LGBTQIA equity initiatives in higher education,
- Interviewed employees in the California Community College system working on LGBTQIA equity initiatives.
